Privacy Policy
Last updated: 9 August 2026
This policy describes what ShareBri collects through our website and mobile app, why, and what your rights are. ShareBri complies with Decree 13/2023/ND-CP on personal data protection.
Scope
This policy covers all personal data collected when you use ShareBri: our website, the web application used by centres, and the mobile app used by students, guardians and teachers.
"Personal data" carries the meaning given in Decree 13/2023, covering both directly and indirectly identifying information.
Your centre's role and ours
Your account is created and managed by the education centre you study or teach at. The app has no self-service sign-up.
The centre decides what information is recorded about students and how long it is kept. ShareBri provides the technical platform and processes data on the centre's instructions.
In practice: to correct or delete learning records, contact your centre first. We also accept requests directly at the address in the final section.
What we collect
Account information: name, email, phone number, postal address, date of birth, gender, and your student or teacher code. You can edit these yourself under Profile; they are used to sign you in, decide what you may see, and identify you within your class.
Learning records: schedules, attendance, lesson notes, scores, documents you receive, contracts and fee status. Entered by your centre and belonging to your centre.
Content you create: images and files you upload, text and voice messages you send in the app, and lesson notes if you are a teacher.
Push notification token: an identifier issued by Firebase Cloud Messaging, stored against your account and used only to deliver notifications about classes and documents.
Crash and performance data: when the app fails, a technical report is sent to Sentry so we can fix it. These reports are not linked to your identity.
Website technical data: IP address, browser type and system logs, for security purposes.
Device permissions
The app asks only when you use the corresponding feature, and you may decline or withdraw permission at any time in your device settings.
Camera: take photos to send in chat or to set your profile picture.
Photo library: choose existing photos to send, and save images you download from your classes.
Microphone: record voice messages in chat. A recording is only made while you deliberately hold the record button, and is sent with that message.
Notifications: class reminders and new documents.
We do not collect location, contacts, health data, browsing history or search history.
How we use data
To provide and operate ShareBri for centres and the people they serve.
To send notifications about classes, attendance and documents shared with you.
To provide technical support when you ask for it.
To find and fix defects through anonymous crash reports.
To meet legal obligations and protect the legitimate rights of all parties.
We do not sell personal data, show advertising in the app, track you across other apps or websites, or use student data to train AI models.
Children's data
ShareBri is used by centres for students of many ages, including children under 16.
A child's account is created by the centre following a guardian's enrolment, not by the child signing up. The app carries no advertising, no in-app purchases, and collects no child data for any purpose beyond their education.
Guardians who wish to view, correct or delete a child's data should contact the centre, or email us at the address in the final section.
Storage and security
Data is stored on cloud infrastructure located in Singapore. Traffic is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS. Passwords are hashed, never stored in readable form. Access is controlled by role.
Learning records are retained for the term of the contract between ShareBri and the centre, plus 90 days after termination to support data migration.
Automated daily backups, retained for 30 days.
Your rights
The right to access, correct and request deletion of your personal data.
The right to request an export of your data in a readable format.
The right to withdraw consent, and to revoke device permissions at any time in your settings.
Because the centre is the party that decides about the data, the fastest route is through them. We also accept requests directly and will respond within 30 days.
